Engenium’s Principals are active directors in the company and provide leadership to a team of experienced project professionals.

This active participation guarantees that our Clients have access to senior sponsors and the primary decision makers of the company.  Unlike our larger competitors, this personalised and direct contact with the senior management ensures that our Clients have the attention of the Engenium Board.

Wayne Peel –  Managing Director

Wayne has more than 20 years of experience in Engineering, Business Development and Executive Management having held senior roles for international Engineering, Information Technology, and Construction companies.  Wayne has an Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering and is a member of Engineers Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mike Begley –  Director

Mike is an Executive Director of Engenium and has over 30 years experience in the Mining and Infrastructure sectors.  He has a wealth of experience in Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management.  Mike's deep understanding of Project Execution and wide experience (on both the Client and Contractor teams) allow him to identify and address organisational, contractual, personnel and technical issues to ensure successful project delivery.  Mike has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

David Sourbutts – Director

David is an Executive Director of Engenium and has over 14 years experience in Project Management and Engineering in the Mining, Rail, Materials Handling and Infrastructure Industries. Dave has a major role in overseeing the development of explorers into miners including the coordination of studies covering process engineering and mine to port optimisation.     Dave’s commodity experience includes Iron Ore (magnetite and DSO hematite), mineral sands, manganese, diamonds and other commodities in Engenium’s portfolio. David has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Hons) and also a Bachelor of Commerce.

Jeff Brill – Director

Jeff Brill is a Non-Executive Director of Engenium with over 20 years experience in project management, engineering and project execution, with expertise in the mining and offshore oil & gas industries. Jeff has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and is a member of  the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Jeff also sits on the board of  several Engenium related entities including engineering, resources and technology development companies.

Troy Ventriss - CFO

Troy is the CFO of Engenium and has more than 16 years of domestic and international accounting and finance experience within the financial services, retail and mining industries.   He is responsible for managing all day to day accounting, financial and administration functions, investment strategy and the Financial Management of Engenium and several related entities.  Troy has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance.
