Description

Engenium are seeking Expressions of Interest for an enthuasiastic and experienced Contract Manager to join our team. 


 The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Prepares project contractors list and ensures all contract files are maintained.
  • Serves as a lead for a team of Contract Administrators and Technicians.
  • Performs all pre-award contract activities, contractor resourcing, interfacing with engineering, project and client personnel to support preparation of RFP, bid evaluation and negotiations up to award and contract execution in accordance with Company Policies/ Procedures.
  • Performs all facets of Post Award Contract Management. Administers changes to contracts including claim resolutions.
  • Proactive with contractors to ensure contract compliance, generation of progress, schedules, daily and other status reports, invoices and supporting documents in a timely manner.
  • Oversees and performs close out of contracts, finalize outstanding contract issues, final invoices and contractor performance evaluatins.
  • Interfaces with internal and external management with respect to Project Contracting Activities.

Previous experience in similar role of 15 years within the Mining and Construction Industry is essential. 

Other prerequisites for the role include: 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Commerce or similar commercial related qualification.
  • Good leadership characteristics and ability to mentor other staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • A proactive and ‘can do’ work approach.
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
