An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Safety Advisor exists. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of occupational health, safety and environmental administration, system implementation to meet statutory and operational requirements. This is a permanent employment opportunity for an individual with passion and drive to contribute to the ongoing development of a growing organisation.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Assist in corporate and project HSEQ systems.
• Implement and conduct the Internal HSEQ Auditing Schedule.
• Maintain and reinforce safety standards
• Coordinate the circulation of relevant safety information, newsletters, publications and legislative changes. 

We are looking for someone with 5 years experience working within the mining, construction and engineering sectors in a similar role.

Other prerequisites for the role include: 

• Tertiary qualification in an HSEQ discipline or equivalent.
• Three years professional experience in Safety Advisor.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
