Description

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Civil Designer to join our team.  The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for the following functions:

• To assist Lead and Senior designers including discipline engineers
• Completes general arrangement layouts and detailed design associated with: Civil/Structural

Earthworks, Roads and Drainage

Sewer & Water services

Building and structures

Foundations

• To produce design sketches and drawings accurately and in a timely manner.
• To layout and draft engineered solutions taking into account existing constraints
• To as-built constructed works.

Previous experience in a Civil Design role of 5 - 10 years within the mining/construction industry is essential.  Other prerequisites for the role include: 

Essential

• Strong 12D Experience required
• Previous experience required within the Mining, Construction or infrastructure industry.
• Ability and experience to layout plans and engineering solutions.

 Desirable

• People Management skills.
• Time Management skills.
• Inter-discipline co-ordination skills.
