• Senior Civil Designer
• Civil Designer 

To join our team for the Iron Boomerang project in Queensland.  The successful candidate will be responsible for: Coordinating Design Drawings such that they meet or exceed project goals within the prescribed time and budget parameters. Other responsibilities include:

• General arrangement layouts and detailed design associated with:Civil/Structural Earthworks, Roads, Drainage, Sewer and Water services, Buildings, structures, and Foundations.
• Proactively participates as a team player and liaises with key project team members particularly the package and design engineers.
• Progress reporting to lead or senior designers.
• Works to and within the company’s Quality Procedures to ensure an auditable trail in design.
• Able to assist with the preparation of drawing related procedures and flowcharts. 

Previous experience in a Civil Design role of at least 5-10 years within the Mining and Construction Industry is essential.  Other prerequisites for the role include: 

• Experience in Microstation and 12D software is essential.
• Ability and experience to layout plans and engineering solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to communicate between different engineers and designers.
• The ability to liaise with vendors and suppliers to get detailed design information.

Previous site experience and commercial exposure would be highly regarded. Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
