BHPBIO Nelson Point Sample Stations - 19.01.2010
Engenium has been awarded the contract for the upgrade to BHP Billitons shiploading sample stations at Nelson Point.
The sample stations are located at the company's Port Ore Handling facility, Nelson Point, Port Hedland, Western Australia.
The contract scope includes upgrading the sample stations to ISO 3082:2009 (Iron Ores - Sampling and Sample Preparation Procedures) and to provide a reliable and maintainable system for the accurate sampling of product streams within Shiploader No.1 and No.2 circuits.
"This is the result of successfuly delivering previous projects to BHP Billiton last year," said Jeff Brill, Engenium's Managing Director.
"This contract is important from the aspect of the continued success of our brownfields works for one of our major clients. We hope to build on this and continue to to do more work of a similar vein."
