Blackham Resources request Scoping Study for the Scaddan Project - 10.10.2011
Engenium have commenced a Study on the Scaddan Project to identify and review logistics options for a Lignite deposit located approximately 60km’s north of the town and port of Esperance and 10km’s east of the Esperance to Kalgoorlie highway in Western Australia.
The Project is a joint venture between Blackham Resources (via its subsidiary Scaddan Energy) and Wesfarmers Resources who have 70% and 30% contributing interests respectively.
Total JORC resources for the Project equal 860 million tonnes of Lignite and the venture partners have a combined landholding in the Scaddan region in excess of 120,000 hectares.
