Engenium commence 'starter' Studies for Legacy Iron and Montezuma Mining Company - 30.08.2011
Engenium have commenced work on two new Projects for Legacy Iron and Montezuma Mining Company this month. These two ‘starter’ Studies consist of a Project Development Report and a Scoping Study respectively.
Legacy Iron appointed Engenium to outline the strengths and weaknesses, possible development options and potential risks and issues for the future development of the Mt Bevan Magnetite Project.
The Mount Bevan Magnetite Project is a joint venture between Legacy Iron and Hawthorn Resources. Located 100km’s west of the Leonora Township, in the central Yilgarn region of Western Australia.
Montezuma Mining Company wish to establish a commercially viable Manganese mining operation just 120km’s south of Newman, located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Engenium have been engaged to provide an initial Report to assist Montezuma in the decision to develop the Butcherbird Project, which is 100% owned by Montezuma.
The Report will include an assessment of mineral resource and metallurgy, mining and processing, logistics and port, infrastructure and utilities and estimates and financial analysis.
