Engenium opens London Office for African Iron Ore Project
Following the award of a contract by SMFG for the Nimba Iron Ore Project, Perth based project delivery company Engenium has opened an office in the UK.
The Nimba project includes a new 30Mtpa iron ore mine and associated processing plant located in Guinea. SMFG is a JV between Newmont, BHPB and AREVA.
The project is in prefeasibility stage and will be managed in London.
Engenium was award a contract to supply project services to the Nimba Iron Ore Project earlier this year.
"The contract award and opening of our London office is a significant milestone for Engenium,” said Engenium Managing Director, Wayne Peel. “We see our UK office as a strategic base to pursue other major iron ore projects in Africa.”
