Full Steam Ahead for Engenium's Heavy Haul Rail Projects - 07.02.2012

From Friday 3rd February 2012 Engenium will be in a position to take on heavy haul rail projects once again, following a period of non-compete due to the sale of a previous joint venture agreement.

Engenium will be actively marketing their ‘rail infrastructure’ project delivery capability and seeking new opportunities, with a particular interest in heavy haulage rail infrastructure in the mining sector.  Engenium has a strong history in heavy haul Rail projects in Australia and internationally.

“We have built a strong reputation in the Rail industry having undertaken EPCM services globally for blue chip miners, government organisations and emerging resource companies.  Key personnel within Engenium's dedicated rail team are internationally renowned experts in the Rail industry,” said Wayne Peel, Managing Director of Engenium.

“With offices based in Perth, London and now Brisbane we have a dedicated and highly experienced rail team available in the two most significant mining regions in Australia – Western Australia and Queensland,” he added.

Engenium manages railway infrastructure projects from the strategic level and feasibility study stage through to detailed design, documentation, construction management, commissioning and handover.  The company’s understanding of rail operations and cost structures enables it to deliver solutions that not only reduce capital costs, but also reduce ongoing maintenance costs.

Engenium has been involved in the successful delivery of over $8bn of Rail projects, demonstrating a depth of experience and expertise in this sector.
