Description
Engenium are seeking Expressions of Interest from an enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Planning Manager who would like to join our team. The Planning Manager is responsible for the development and maintenance of the overall project plan and master schedule based on input from project technical/commercial functions and contractors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- WPS preparation
- Preparing the necessary project planning, scheduling procedures and support to PDP, PEP and/or other project documentation definition.
- Preparing and updating the overall project master schedule
- Supporting the risk analyst in preparing and updating the Risk Register and other project registers
- Provide ongoing scheduling support for the project.
Previous experience in a Planning Manager role or similar of at least 10 years within the Mining and Construction Industry is essential.
Other prerequisites for the role include:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications;
- Management and leadership experience;
- Demonstrated contractual understanding;
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
- Report writing skills;
- Computer skills, eg MS Office Suite, Suretrack, Primavera
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise;
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive and ‘can do’ work approach;
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; and
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Previous site experience and commercial exposure would be highly regarded. Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
