An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have demonstrated management skills, creativity, foresight and mature judgment.
 
As a minimum you will possess:
 
  • Engineering Qualification (highly desirable)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role
  • Significant experience in the mining/resource/engineering industries
  • Previous experience within an EPCM  /PMC Company
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business for Greenfield and Brownfield projects
  • An extensive network of customer and industry contacts
  • The ability to effectively implement sales and marketing strategies that lead to the development of new business leads
  • The ability to manage the preparation of proposals and pre-proposals
  • The ability to solicitate and make appropriate bid decision and recommendations
  • Highly developed negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including dealing with a broad range of people from different cultural backgrounds
 
Other responsibilities include:
 
  • Identify and analyse Engenium’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Be proactive and respond to opportunities and threats in the market place
  • Set goals for market share and growth
  • Represent Engenium at trade association, industry meetings and functions
 
Previous international experience and MBA qualification would be highly regarded. Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
