An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Civil Supervisor / Superintendent to join the Engenium Team working on a Major Port Expansion Project. The project involves an upgrade of existing and construction of new materials handling infrastructure including: stockyard development, conveyer systems, reclaimers, stackers, assess roads, civil infrastructure, as well as communication systems and general buildings.
We are looking for a civil qualified candidate who has had extensive experience working at either EPCM or Client level. The role will be site based and reporting directly to the Project Manager.
Desirable Attributes include but are not limited to:
- An understanding and working knowledge of civil construction
- A proven ability to supervise the construction of large bulk earthwork projects.
- Min of 5 years hands on supervisory experience
- Previous management of a team of leading hands and operators
- Good commercial awareness coupled with exceptional attention to detail and prioritise skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to drive positive outcomes with managers and staff.
- Ability to train new staff and liaise with Management as required.
- Hold current plant tickets with extensive experience
- Be able to take on the responsibility and ownership of this job with leadership skills.
Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
