An excellent opportunity exists for s highly motivated and experienced Manager Projects to manage our Resource Operations team.  Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have demonstrated management skills, creativity, foresight and mature judgment.
 
The Resource Operations business unit targets Sustaining Capital Projects for tier 1 Mining Companies. The primary focus of this role is to effectively manage the Resource Operations Business Unit and all its associated projects including: proposal development and submission, negotiation, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close out.
 
As a minimum you will possess:
 
  • Engineering Qualification and  be familiar with PIMBOK
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in managing projects in the mining /resource/engineering industries
  • Experience in EPCM Sustaining Capital
  • Experience working with Tier 1 mining clients
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in managing studies and construction in an EPCM environment
  • Sound technical and project management skills
  • Highly developed negotiation and delegation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills including dealing with a broad range of people from a different cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
 
Other responsibilities include:
 
  • Devising a business unit plan to support Engenium’s strategic targets
  • Directing projects across the business unit to ensure effective delivery of multiple simultaneous projects and business transitions
  • Ensure that Project Management knowledge areas are applied and well managed across all projects
  • Participating in business development initiatives
  • Participate as a key member of the company by influencing the culture, direction and development of Engenium
 
Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
