Mike Begley –  Project Director

Mike has over 30 years experience in the mining and infrastructure sectors.  He has a wealth of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, procurement and construction management.  Mike's deep understanding of project execution and wide experience (on both the client and contractor teams) allow him to identify and address organisational, contractual, personnel and technical issues to ensure successful project delivery.  Mike has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).

Glenn Bigland - General Manager, Resource Projects

Glenn has over 23 years experience in the mining, infrastructure and engineering industries. His knowledge and experience include project management, engineering management and construction. Glenn has previously filled the roles of Project Manager, National Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and Construction Superintendent. He has a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

Brian De Swardt - General Manager, Rail

Brian has 19 years experience in engineering and project management.  He has been responsible for research, studies, master planning, design engineering, procurement and construction monitoring in the mining, oil and gas, industrial, building and municipal infrastructure fields.  Brian has previously filled the roles of Senior Study Manager, Manager Projects, Project Manager, Managing Director, Project and Design Engineer. He has a National Diploma of Engineering (Civil) as well as a B.Tech in Urban and Water Civil Engineering.

Gabriel Pindar - Manager, Major Project Services

Gabriel has 20 years experience in project controls across different industries and environments.  His knowledge and experience include project controls, contracts and procurement document controls, administration systems and methodologies, risk analysis with management, project budgets, labor forecasts and cashflows.  Gabriel has previously filled the roles of Project Services Manager, Commercial Manager and Project Controls Lead.  He holds a Bachelor in Science.

Chris Senior - Engineering Manager, Resource Projects

Chris has over 14 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the mining, materials handling and mineral processing industry.  Chris has held a range of roles in engineering consultancy on projects across Western Australia.  He has operated in a range of industries including alumina, lead, gold, iron ore, and infrastructure. Chris has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management).

Tony Richardson - Engineering Manager, Rail

Tony is a railway engineering specialist with more than 35 years experience in the design, construction, maintenance and operation of railways.  He has held senior engineering roles in client, contractor and EPCM consultant organistions.  Tony has worked in the heavy haul, long distance freight and passenger rail sectors of the industry.  He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and a Bachelor of Business (Transport).

Marcel Seale - Project Services Manager

Marcel has over 25 years of experience in the resource and construction industry with expertise in project controls, planning and estimating. Marcel has held roles of Project Services Manager, Planning Manager and Quantity Surveyor in several construction companies in Australia. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Building Surveying (Quantity Surveying).

Luke Howard - Human Resources Manager

Luke has extensive experience as a HR Practitioner in a variety of senior human resource roles in Western Australia. Luke has had widespread experience in human resource management, employee relations and industrial relations across major resource sector projects encompassing engineering consulting, construction and civil contracting. Luke currently holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management.  

Troy Ventriss - CFO

Troy is the CFO of Engenium and has more than 16 years of domestic and international accounting and finance experience within the financial services, retail and mining industries.   He is responsible for managing all day to day accounting, financial and administration functions, investment strategy and the financial management of Engenium and several related entities.  Troy has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance.

Melanie Procter - Finance Manager

Melanie has over 5 years experience working in a finance capacity.  Melanie has held roles as Finance Manager, Financial Accountant, Assistant Accountant and Credit Officer and has spent some time working overseas in London and travelling Europe.  She has a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Kim Cauchi – HSEQ Manager

Kim is a HSEQ specialist with over 20 years experience in the resource and mining sectors.  He has developed and implemented numerous HSEQ management systems for a number of organisations including several ISO certified Integrated Management Systems.  Kim has worked in HSEQ roles in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Metallurgy) and is an internationally recognised Registered Quality Auditor with RABQSA.
