Description

Engenium are seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic, qualified and experienced Senior Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Project Engineers who would like to join our team.  The Senior Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the following functions:

• Mining and materials handling package engineering;
• Development of scopes and specifications for tender documentation;
• Contract management support;
• Budget estimating support and input into estimating;
• Construction management support;
• Design of bulk materials handling systems (Mech) or earthworks & drainage (Civil);
• Design of crushing  and screening systems (Mech) or roads & structures (Civil);
• Design and specification of supporting infrastructure; and
• Technical support for the procurement and contracting process.

Previous experience in a Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Project Engineering role of 5-10 years within the Mining and Construction Industry is essential.  Other prerequisites for the role include: 

• Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering;
• Previous Project Engineering experience;  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise;
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive and ‘can do’ work approach;
• The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information; and
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;

Previous site experience and commercial exposure would be highly regarded. Terms of this employment contract are negotiable and can be discussed at interview stage.
