At Engenium we believe it is important for those who work in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths to support the learning and career development of youth and encourage them to adopt a career pathway in STEAM. We do this through sponsorship of organisations such as Youth Express in the Hunter region of New South Wales, who connect with youth and Austmine, who run an annual STEM METS Career Pathway Program across Australia.

This month we get to know Pat Ryan, Project Engineering Manager in our Perth head office, located in Western Australia. Pat has extensive experience working on an operating alumina refinery. Pat is currently assisting us with projects for Alcoa and Roy Hill. Quite remarkably he spends a large portion of his free time raising funds for a charity called Solaris Cancer Care.
Engenium Assist's Alinta with Construction of Pilbara Solar Farm
Engenium is currently assisting Alinta Energy with the construction phase of their Chichester Solar/Gas Hybrid Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Up to 100% of daytime operations at Fortescue Metals Group’s Chichester Hub iron ore operations will be powered by renewable energy backed by Alinta’s existing battery storage system and power station at Newman.
Project Profile: Pipeline and Conveyor Routes Study
Engenium was recently involved in assisting Development WA (previously LandCorp) with a high level study into the feasibility of two proponents, a conveyor and a pipeline, to transport product from the proposed Burrup Strategic Industrial Area to the Dampier Bulk Liquids Berth.

Undergrads Join Engenium for Summer Term

As well as sending emerging leaders on a tailored 12 month Leadership Development Program, and Wayne Peel and David Sourbutts having active Board roles with the Entrepreneurs Organisation, Engenium has also joined WA Leaders 3-year Executive Leaders Series.
