Engenium today announced it has entered into a significant Panel Contract Agreement with Rio Tinto’s iron ore operations.
The panel contract agreement gives Engenium preferred contractor status for a program of engineering and project delivery services work over the next two years.
The agreement includes the provision of design, engineering, procurement, contract management, project management and commissioning management works associated with Rio Tinto’s planned sustaining capital and maintenance projects portfolio in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The agreement is non-exclusive and will give Engenium visibility into a stream of projects and greater continuity of work. This will allow Engenium to undertake longer term resource planning as well providing improved safety, cost and schedule outcomes to Rio Tinto.
“We are very pleased to be working with Rio Tinto as preferred contractor under this agreement. We have had a very successful working association with the company and this agreement marks another significant milestone in our long term relationship”. Engenium’s Managing Director Wayne Peel said.
